Based on work done for the  The Lucy Daniels Center and Resources for Resilience, Partners for Impact worked to build a statewide network of all those who are using  Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) and Circle of Security Classroom. Consultants from Partners for Impact used a host of interactive exercises that helped the network develop a common vision of the State and their communities, a set of values that builds the culture of how the work will progress and a mission that clearly states what they are going to do. The use of virtual tools enabled much greater participation from diverse geographic regions of the state.

To achieve the vision of statewide availability and accessibility of COSP, Circle Together NC has defined four overarching goals:

  1. A broad network of professionals in diverse communities are committed to referring individuals who hold children to COSP.
  2. North Carolina has a competent, diverse, and well-supported group of facilitators large enough to meet the needs of North Carolina.
  3. Parents and a variety of caregivers participate in COSP training.
  4. Circle Together NC builds its capacity to align with its values and build its new vision of community.
