Building Capacity for

Collaboration ~ Nonprofit Management~ Community Impact

Welcome our Newest Senior Advisor, Stan Holt, PhD

March 21, 2018

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

By design, Partners for Impact, LLC was created to strengthen the effectiveness of nonprofits, collaboratives, and coalitions. To do this work well, I knew from the start, in March of 2016, that it was not meant to be a Lone Ranger operation. Additional Advisors are critical to help shape this work of capacity building. With that in mind, the organizational values were prioritized to align with other human service leaders who are interested in making an impact by bringing people, groups, and organizations together, working in partnership to improve some of our most complex social problems.

I’m thrilled to announce that as of March 6, 2018, Stan Holt, PhD joined Partners for Impact as a Senior Advisor. Stan has a long history of working in the nonprofit sector, including executive leadership, development, and as a grantmaker. He has served as a volunteer on both nonprofit and public boards in Durham. This new role allows Stan the opportunity to live into values he has held for a long time; values associated with interdependence and connectedness with others.

Stan has already infused his experience around grantmaking and philanthropy into the collective work that Partners for Impact wants to support. He is thinking about collaboration - where multiple stakeholders take responsibility for solving a complex human services problem. And he’s thinking about how collaboration requires different competencies at different levels - funders, organizations, and front line human service workers are all involved in a collaborative initiative, yet have different roles and responsibilities leading to a shared vision of community change. This is Stan’s wheelhouse, and I am more than excited to continue working with him in this new role.

Please join us in celebrating Stan’s launch with Partners for Impact:

WHEN: April 26, 2018, 4:00 pm
WHERE: Bull City Ciderworks, 305 South Roxboro Street, Durham NC

Come meet Stan and me along with other professional colleagues/partners who are committed to creating an impact in our community.
